This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, practical, and hands on individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented school environment.Job responsibilities (not limited to): Opening and locking the school premisesSetting and disarming security alarmsCarrying out daily security and safety checksChecking doors, windows, gates and access pointsGeneral upkeep and maintenance of the school buildingsCarrying out minor repairs and basic DIYChanging light bulbs and replacing basic fixturesChecking heating, lighting and water systemsReporting faults and maintenance issuesKeeping corridors, classrooms and communal areas safe and tidyMaintaining school grounds, playgrounds and outdoor areasBasic gardening and grounds maintenanceLitter picking and emptying outdoor binsSetting up and clearing away rooms for meetings, events and activitiesMoving furniture, equipment and deliveries around the schoolReceiving and assisting with deliveriesLiaising with contractors and supervising site visitorsEnsuring contractors sign in and follow site proceduresMonitoring the condition of school facilitiesSupporting health and safety ..... full job details .....
