The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure, clean, and well-presented environment for pupils, staff, and visitors during afternoon hours. Key ResponsibilitiesLocking and securing school buildings and gatesCarrying out basic maintenance and minor repairsSetting up rooms and school spaces for activities/eventsMonitoring the cleanliness and safety of the premisesConducting routine health and safety checksReporting maintenance issues or hazards promptlySupporting contractors and deliveries on-siteAssisting with waste disposal and general site upkeepResponding to ad-hoc caretaker duties as required Candidate RequirementsEssentialPrevious caretaker, maintenance, cleaning, or facilities experienceBasic DIY and repair skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyGood understanding of health and safety practicesStrong communication and organisational skillsDesirableExperience working within a school environmentFirst Aid or Health and Safety qualificationsEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain ..... full job details .....
