School Caretaker

We are currently recruiting for a reliable, proactive, and skilled School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.Location: RedcarHours: Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs pwContract Type: Temp to permRate: 13.85phKey Responsibilities:Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained.Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities.Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems.Liaise with contractors and report any major issues to management.Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.Good practical skills and a hands-on approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.Enhanced DBS check is essential (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people. ..... full job details .....
