School Caretaker

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued educational clients in the Hindley Green area for a School Caretaker to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Start Date: 1st September

Job Type: Temporary on-going

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Split shift so must live local (6:30am-9:30am & 3:30pm-6:30pm)

Hourly Rate: -12.1ph13.50ph

• Opening and securing the school premises
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks
• General maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring school grounds are clean, tidy, and safe
• Setting up rooms and facilities as required
• Reporting maintenance issues and hazards
• Supporting site security and safeguarding procedures
• Cleaning duties

• Previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, experience is desirable
• Good practical maintenance skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or a willingness to obtain one before starting
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
