This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Caretaker or facilities professional looking for a long-term role within a thriving educational environment.As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and securing the school premises each dayCarrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and general handyman dutiesUndertaking routine health and safety inspections across the siteEnsuring school buildings and grounds are safe, tidy, and well-maintainedSetting up classrooms, halls, and other areas for school events and activitiesMonitoring site security and reporting maintenance concerns promptlySupporting with deliveries, contractor visits, and site access arrangementsAssisting with the day-to-day upkeep of school facilities and equipmentThe Ideal Candidate Will HavePrevious experience as a School Caretaker, Site Manager, Facilities Assistant, Maintenance Operative, or in a similar roleGood practical maintenance, repair, and DIY skillsA strong understanding of health and safety responsibilitiesThe ability to work independently and manage workloads effectivelyA flexible, ..... full job details .....
