Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced School Business Manager for a specialist SEMH school in Plaistow.

We are looking for a confident, organised and experienced professional who can take responsibility for the school''s business functions and work closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing school budgets, finance, payroll and procurement

• Overseeing HR processes, staffing and school administration

• Managing and supporting administrative and premises teams

• Overseeing contractors, building maintenance and facilities budgets

• Ensuring health & safety, safeguarding and statutory compliance

• Supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership with school operations and strategic planning

Requirements:

• Previous School Business Manager or equivalent senior school management experience

• Strong financial, HR and operational management skills

• Excellent understanding of school health & safety and compliance

• Confident managing staff, budgets and multiple responsibilities

• SEN/SEMH school experience desirable
