School Barber - SEMH Interventions Location: Tower HamletsContract: Full-time / Term-time onlyStart Date: ImmediateAre you a skilled barber with a passion for mentoring young people? We are looking for a School Barber to join our team and deliver bespoke interventions for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to use your barbering expertise as a tool to build trust, boost confidence, and create safe spaces for positive conversations with students.What you''ll do:Provide barbering and grooming sessions for pupils in a safe, supportive environment.Use 1:1 and small group sessions as an intervention strategy to support students with SEMH needs.Build strong, positive relationships to encourage self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to track progress and outcomes.Act as a positive role model, helping students engage with school life.What we''re looking for:Qualified and experienced barber (Level 2/3 or equivalent).Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs.Strong communication and mentoring skills.Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils.A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).What we offer:The chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.Supportive school environment with ongoing training.Competitive pay, term-time hours, and excellent career development opportunities.If you''re ready to ..... full job details .....
