As an Art Technician you will play a key role in supporting both staff and students within the Art Department. You will be responsible for preparing materials and resources, maintaining art equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized, and inspiring environment for learning. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the arts, excellent organizational skills, and a practical hands-on approach.

• Prepare and maintain art materials, resources, and equipment for lessons.

• Support staff and students with practical aspects of art projects and activities.

• Ensure health and safety standards are met within the Art Department.

• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering materials as required.

• Maintain and organize the Art Department, including classrooms, storage areas, and studios.

• Assist with displays, exhibitions, and school art events.

• Provide support with technical equipment, including kilns, printers, and other specialized tools.

• Has a practical knowledge of a range of artistic techniques and materials.

• Is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Previous experience in an educational environment is desirable but not essential.
