Chelsea Hall School is an outstanding Independent Special School for students aged 4-11 with mild to moderate, complex learning needs. We are part of the Cavendish Group, a unique group of educational independent day and boarding schools. We work closely with the other schools in our group and believe in ''thinking differently’ and being as creative as possible in our teaching.We are seeking to recruit a highly organised School Administrator with a good eye for detail.Working hours: 7.30 - 16.00, Monday to Friday, five days a week, all year roundSalary: £ 26,000-32,000 depending on experienceStart date: 1st December 2025Responsibilities
General administration
Answering the phone, listening to messages, answering the door, collecting parcelsSupporting the headteacher and leadership team as and when required
Recruitment
Posting recruitment adverts, shortlisting candidates, booking in trial days and interviews, minuting interviews, and following up with candidatesProducing offer letters and contractsEnsuring compliance with safer recruitment and all recruitment regulationsMaintaining the Staff Central Register up-to-dateEnsuring all staff complete onboarding training and updating the qualification spreadsheetMaintaining the school’s MIS
EHCP administration
Preparing Annual Review paperwork and liaising with all parties to ensure it is readyChairing Annual Review meetingsEnsuring legal timeframes are adhered toSetting deadlines on the calendar as well as calendar invites for the meetingComplianceEnsuring policies and processes are up-to-date, understood by staff, and adhered toActing as Data Protection Lead, liaising with the Data Protection Officer as and when requiredManaging the school’s safeguarding systems (MyConcern and Confide)
