School Administrator - Safeguarding & Pastoral Support

Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Remedy Education are looking for an organised and confident School Administrator to join a busy school team. The role will be based within the school''s Reflection Room, supporting the safeguarding, behaviour and attendance teams.

This position requires previous in School Admin experience.

Some previous safeguarding experience or knowledge is preferred, although you do not need to be a safeguarding specialist. We are looking for someone with strong administration skills who is comfortable working with sensitive information and supporting pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping safeguarding records and files organised and up to date
• Supporting the transfer of pupil safeguarding files when students move schools
• Monitoring safeguarding concerns and passing urgent or overdue matters to the appropriate staff
• Keeping trackers for vulnerable pupils updated
• Booking meetings and safeguarding training
• Supporting with detention administration and behaviour records
• Helping with the day-to-day running of the Reflection Room
• Maintaining records relating to uniform, behaviour and pastoral support
• Supporting the school with attendance records and conversation trackers
• General administrative support to the safeguarding and pastoral teams

The ideal candidate will have previous school administration experience, be highly organised and confident dealing with confidential information. Experience working around safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral care or attendance would be a strong advantage.
