Job Title: Delegated Authority Scheme UnderwriterSalary: £40,000 - £50,000Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid - minimum 1 day per week in the office) PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Our client is seeking a Delegated Authority Scheme Underwriter to support the performance and delivery of delegated underwriting schemes across their portfolio. This role will focus on underwriting scheme business, managing partner referrals and ensuring technically sound and commercially pragmatic underwriting decisions are made. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure high service standards, strong underwriting discipline and efficient business processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Underwrite delegated authority scheme business in line with underwriting appetite and company guidelines.Act as the first point of contact for allocated scheme partners, managing referrals and providing technical support where required.Make technically sound and commercially astute underwriting decisions.Support the ongoing performance and development of delegated underwriting schemes.Ensure underwriting decisions align with internal governance, regulatory requirements and customer outcome expectations.Maintain strong service standards and provide excellent support to scheme partners.Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve underwriting processes and operational efficiency.Support the optimisation of internal business processes to enhance delivery and service.Carry out any additional ..... full job details .....
