The contract delivers a wide range of highway maintenance and improvement activities across Suffolk. We are seeking an experienced Scheme Delivery Manager to support the delivery of high-quality highway services. This is a hands-on freelance role, responsible for managing site delivery, subcontractors, and multiple workstreams to ensure schemes are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day site delivery of schemes ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standardsPlan and manage programmes, resources, labour, plant, materials, and subcontractorsMaintain high standards of site safety and environmental controlLiaise with stakeholders including network managers, local authorities, designers, and community groupsEnsure Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place before work beginsEnsure all site personnel and subcontractors are competent and fully trainedTake ownership of project progress reporting and site records, including site diaries and as-built informationSupport development of construction programmes, phasing plans, and method statementsBuild strong relationships with key supply chain partnersSupport ..... full job details .....
