This role is all about keeping things moving. As a Scheduler, you''ll play a key part in making sure work is planned efficiently, resources are used in the best way, and our field teams have everything they need to deliver for customers. It''s a fast-paced, varied role where no two days look the same, and you''ll be right at the centre of operations.What you''ll be doing as a SchedulerPlanning and scheduling daily work for field teams across your assigned area.Making sure every technician has a full, productive day with the right jobs matched to their skills.Managing both reactive and planned work, keeping everything aligned with priorities and SLAs.Monitoring progress throughout the day and adjusting schedules where needed.Acting as the main point of contact for allocating and reallocating work.Communicating with field teams, managers and other stakeholders to keep everyone updated.Responding quickly to issues, escalating where needed to minimise customer impact.Ensuring all work is completed, correctly recorded, and follow-up actions are arranged.Keeping systems updated and maintaining accurate scheduling data.Supporting the team by helping reduce backlogs and improve ways of working.Base location: Kemble Court, ReadingWorking hours: Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:00-15:00, 8:00-16:00 and 9:00-17:00What you should bring to the role Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Good analytical ..... full job details .....
