Production Manager
to lead our workshop and production teams. This is a pivotal role where you’ll make a real impact – perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and takes pride in delivering quality through well-organised, people-focused leadership.Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership to workshop and production staff.Work closely with project managers to plan and coordinate production activities.Support design teams in moving concepts seamlessly into production.Manage resources, scheduling, and workshop space to ensure smooth workflow and safety.Oversee subcontractor resourcing and assist the HR Manager with recruitment and onboarding.Monitor budgets, attend weekly cost meetings, and track departmental spend.Drive continuous improvement across processes and production methods.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride in maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient workplace.Champion Health and Safety best practices at all times.About You
Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within scenic, set build, or immersive environments.A practical maker at heart, with hands-on knowledge of workshop processes.Strong leadership, organisation, and planning skills.A confident communicator who collaborates effectively across teams.Passionate about process improvement and enabling others to succeed.Committed to developing and motivating people.Dedicated to maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing workspace.Seniority level
