A fantastic opportunity has opened up to join an award-winning, independent Insurance Broker as an Account Handler within their specialist scheme team. Based just outside Bolton, this is a fast-paced and varied role that would suit someone who thrives on building client relationships and delivering excellent service.You''ll take ownership of your own book, managing the full insurance cycle - from new business to renewals and mid-term adjustments. The role also includes an element of underwriting, using your judgment within a delegated authority. It''s a brilliant chance to join a tight-knit, supportive team where your work makes a real impact.Responsibilities:Manage and grow relationships with new and existing scheme clients.Handle all aspects of the insurance process including new business, renewals, MTAs, and queries.Underwrite risks within delegated authority levels.Provide clear, expert advice to clients, helping them understand what cover they need and why.Deliver consistently high levels of service and communication.What we are looking for:Proven Account Handler experience in the commercial insurance sector.Great attention to detail and solid technical knowledge.Confident communication skills - both written and verbal.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at A-C/4-9.Benefits of the Schemes Account Handler :Base salary up to £40,000 plus benefitsPrivate Medical Insurance.Life Assurance (2x ..... full job details .....
