Scarab Road Sweeper Driver (Immediate Start - Hounslow Borough)Hounslow, West London (borough-wide street cleansing routes)Working Hours:Monday to Friday07:00 - 16:00 (9-hour shifts)40 hours per weekOccasional overtime availableImmediate start 17.50 - 18.50 per hour weekly payJob Overview:You will operate a Scarab road sweeper / council cleansing vehicle carrying out scheduled street cleansing duties across residential, commercial, and public areas.This is a structured, full-time driving role with immediate availability for suitable candidates.Key Responsibilities:Operate Scarab sweeper safely on assigned borough routesClean roads, pavements, estates, and public spacesRemove litter, debris, and fly-tipping wasteDispose of collected waste at designated sitesCarry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenanceReport hazards or environmental issuesFollow planned council route schedules accuratelyRequirements:Full UK driving licenceCategory C (Class 2 HGV) required Valid Driver CPC qualificationMaximum 6 penalty points (clean licence preferred)Ability to start immediately following checks and inductionExperience with large vehicles preferredGood reliability and timekeepingDesirable Experience:Previous council, refuse, or street cleansing workHGV Class 2 driving experienceFamiliarity with Hounslow borough routesExperience operating Scarab or similar sweeping vehicles ..... full job details .....
