This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-priority government services, helping to develop, maintain and enhance systems that play a vital role in public services and fraud prevention. You will join a live services and operations team, working within an Agile environment to deliver robust, scalable and secure software solutions. Key Responsibilities Microservices Development: Design, develop and enhance Scala-based microservices, often using the Play Framework. Agile Delivery: Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams, including developers, testers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software. Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, efficient, maintainable and testable code for Front End and Back End services, including APIs. Live Service Support: Support and operate production services throughout the full software development life cycle. Troubleshooting: Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure service reliability and performance.
