Scala DeveloperRemoteInitial 3 Month Contract 450pd (Inside IR35)We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with Public Sector experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable applications using Scala, with proficiency in the Play Framework and AWS cloud services. Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Scala.- Utilise the Play Framework to build web-based applications.- Deploy, manage, and optimise applications on AWS.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.- Ensure best practises in software development and code quality.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Scala Developer, preferably within the Public Sector.- Strong proficiency in Scala and the Play Framework.- Experience with AWS cloud services.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.Additional Skills (Preferred):- Familiarity with other functional programming languages.- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.- Knowledge of security best practises in software development. ..... full job details .....
