Scaffold Inspector

We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Inspector to join a growing and successful scaffolding division. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team delivering complex access, temporary works, and protection solutions across a wide range of construction, infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Working closely with project teams, engineers, and clients, you will be responsible for producing safe, practical, and cost-effective scaffolding designs that support successful project delivery from concept through to installation. Key Responsibilities Produce scaffold designs, calculations, and detailed drawings in accordance with current industry standards and regulations. Design a variety of scaffold solutions including independent scaffolds, birdcages, temporary roofs, loading bays, shoring, support scaffolds, and specialist access systems. Develop design briefs and liaise with clients, site teams, and engineers to understand project requirements. Prepare design risk assessments and ensure compliance with TG20, SG4, BS EN 12811, and relevant temporary works procedures. Review and check designs for structural integrity, safety, and buildability. Provide technical support and guidance to operational and commercial teams. Attend site visits to assess requirements and resolve design-related challenges. Produce design calculations and reports where required.
