Role Title: Scala DeveloperDuration: 6 month contractLocation: RemoteRate: up to £579.60 p/d Umbrella inside IR35Clearance required: Active SC Clearance is requiredRole purpose/summaryScala Developer required to support Government Gateway work and Fraud Prevention Centre work. This is an exciting opportunity to help take on some critical national infrastructure work that is high priority for the client.You will be part of a live services and run team that will deliver work in an agile environment.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild Microservices: Design, develop, and enhance Scala-based microservices (often utilizing the Play Framework).Agile Delivery: Collaborate within multidisciplinary Agile teams. Work with developers, testers, product managers, and other roles in Agile environments.Quality andamp; Testing: Write clean, testable, and efficient code to build front and Back End services and APIs.Operations: Support and operate production services throughout the full development life cycle, troubleshooting and resolving issues.Key Skills andamp; RequirementsStrong commercial experience with Scala and functional programming patterns.All profiles will be reviewed against the required skills and experience.
