SC Cleared SLM Data Engineer - Stevenage/Hybrid - £70.00 Per Hour Umbrella

We are looking for a SC Cleared SLM Data Engineer for a leading Defence organisation based in Stevenage, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week on site. We are looking for a Data Engineer to work with the customer support department and project teams to work with the development and evolution of database solutions, migrating data from Legacy systems, and designing conceptual and logical data models. Working with a large and long standing data model, the successful applicant will be working to organise and optimize the data, the database systems, define security procedures, and collaborate with the business department to identify future needs and requirements. Responsibilities: Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality Analysing, planning, and defining data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data Migrate data from Legacy systems to new solutions Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements Optimize new and current database systems Define security and backup procedures Collaborating with other teams within the organisation to devise and implement data strategies, build models, and assess shareholder needs and goals Provide operational support for Management Information Systems Requirements and skills Proficiency in SQL is ..... full job details .....
