SC Cleared Service Designer | Central Government | Up to £540 per day | Inside IR35We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Service Designer to join a high-profile Central Government programme on an initial 4-month contract.Working within a multidisciplinary agile team, you will play a key role in designing and improving end-to-end public services, ensuring they meet user needs, business objectives and GDS standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead service design activities across complex digital and business transformation programmes.Map and design end-to-end services, identifying pain points, opportunities and improvements.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and user needs.Create service blueprints, user journeys and other service design artefacts.Collaborate closely with User Researchers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Delivery Managers.Support service teams through Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases.Ensure services align with GDS standards and user-centred design principles.Translate research and operational insights into practical service improvements.Present recommendations and service designs to senior stakeholders.Essential ExperienceActive SC Clearance (current and transferable).Proven Service Design experience within Central Government.Strong knowledge of GDS standards, the Digital Service Standard and service design methodologies.Experience working across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases of delivery.Demonstrable ..... full job details .....
