This role will suit candidates with strong experience across both traditional Human Factors/Ergonomics and modern digital User-Centred Design environments. Key experience required: Human Factors Integration (HFI) within complex systems programmes User-Centred Design (UCD), UX, software usability or HMI design Human Factors assessments including workload, human error, usability and situational awareness Supporting design reviews, testing, evaluation and acceptance activities Working within defence or other safety-critical environments Experience collaborating across engineering, software and integration teams Ideal background: Defence, aerospace, naval, secure government or other highly regulated industries Knowledge of Def Stan 00-251 and/or MIL-STD-1472 Strong understanding of engineering life cycle and systems integration Chartered Institute of Human Factors membership (or working towards) Requireme...
