SC Cleared IT Support Specialist 6 Months Fully on-site in Warton, Lancashire Market Rate (Inside IR35) Please note - Due to the nature of the role and the client, the selected candidate MUST HAVE Active SC Clearance AND be a British/Italian/Japanese citizen My client are looking for an experienced Local IT Support Specialist to provide dedicated, on-site Level 1 and Level 2 technical support within a major international Defence environment. You will act as the primary on-site IT support contact, providing hands-on technical assistance to local users while working closely with a wider UK-based Service Operations team. The role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing ServiceNow tickets and taking ownership of local laptop builds, configuration and deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site L1/L2 Technical SupportProvide hands-on Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to users, including walk-up and scheduled assistance.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows operating systems and basic network connectivity issues.Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.Ensure tickets are accurately documented and users receive regular updates.Resolve technical issues locally wherever possible, escalating more complex incidents when required.Device Builds and DeploymentTake ownership of the end-to-end laptop build, configuration and deployment process.Prepare and maintain pre-configured laptop stock to enable rapid replacement of ..... full job details .....
