SC Cleared Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with active SC Clearance to join our team in Helensburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding within marine or defence environments, supporting critical projects to the highest safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical systems on marine vessels and associated infrastructure.Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to project schedules.Work to strict HSE and quality standards, maintaining compliance with MOD, marine, and company procedures.Support inspections and commissioning activities as required.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver work packages effectively and safely.RequirementsActive SC Clearance (mandatory).Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or equivalent).Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, ideally within marine, shipbuilding, or defence environments.Strong understanding of HSE regulations and safe systems of work.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.Flexible and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.DesirableExperience working on Royal Navy or defence-related projects.Knowledge of marine systems and standards.COMPEX or ..... full job details .....
