Reed Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing companyAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Sawyer to join our team in a specialist manufacturing environment. Working as part of a two-person team, you will support the heat treatment of classified rotating shaft components and carry out material cutting and preparation activities.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, safety-focused industrial setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely handle a range of materials using overhead cranes and forklift trucks (FLTs)Assist with furnace loading and unloading during heat treatment processesOperate a variety of saws to cut materials including Datalloy blooms, ingots, and shaft componentsCarry out Brinell hardness testingFollow QA procedures to ensure product traceability and identificationSupport general loading, unloading, and dispatch dutiesRecord progress using a computer-based production systemMaintain strict compliance with all health and safety standardsAbout YouExperience in a steel/manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment (preferred)Strong focus on health, safety, and qualityAbility to follow procedures accurately and work methodicallyComfortable working as part of a small teamGood level of reliability, timekeeping, and attendanceThe role also includes a BONUS of up to 15% OTE ..... full job details .....
