Saw Operator

We are working with a leading manufacturing company committed to precision, quality, and innovation. With a strong reputation in the industry, they are expanding their production team and seeking a skilled Beam Saw Operator.

Role Overview

As a Beam Saw Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring materials are cut accurately and efficiently to meet project specifications. You''ll work with advanced machinery, follow technical drawings, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate beam saw machinery to cut panels and materials to precise measurements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Optimise cutting patterns to minimise waste.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Using a counterbalance forklift

Requirements

• Must have previous experience operating beam saws or similar woodworking machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Previous forklift experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Monday - Thursday 07:30 to 04:30, Friday 07:30 to 12:30
