We are recruiting for a Saw Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Kingswinford

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where accuracy and efficiency are equally important. You''ll be responsible for operating a band saw, measuring and cutting materials to customer specifications, and managing your own workload from start to finish.

This isn''t a role for someone who likes to stand around waiting to be told what to do. We need someone who is proactive, takes pride in their work, and is happy to get involved in all aspects of the operation.

Your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating a band saw.

• Measuring materials accurately using tapes, Vernier calipers, and other measuring equipment.

• Cutting materials to customer specifications and engineering drawings.

• Feeding your own machine using an overhead crane and forklift truck.

• Banding, labelling, and preparing finished products for dispatch.

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.

• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised.

• Supporting the wider warehouse and production team when required.

• Previous experience operating a band saw within a manufacturing or steel environment.

• Confident using measuring equipment, including Vernier calipers.

• Experience reading measurements accurately and working to tight tolerances.

• An overhead crane licence is advantageous.

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable.

• Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.

• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
