Saw Operator

At The Recruitment Group we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Saw Machinist for a well-established multi-national company in Loughborough.

As a Saw Machinist you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically involved in producing components for retail merchandising displays. 

Pay for the Saw Machinist:

• £12.71 to £12.85 with enhanced overtime rates

Hours/Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday 7:45 to 16:30 Friday 7:45 to 15:15
• Overtime available by discussion

Location:

• Loughborough

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating and setting up woodworking machinery
• Operating table saws, mitre saws, bandsaws
• Cutting plastic and wood

Requirements and Skills:

• Previous experience working with woodworking machinery 
• Posses practical Health & Safety knowledge an stadard operating procedures 
• A keen eye for detail and ability to quickly identify any components out of specification 
• Competent in Maths and fluent in speaking and reading English 
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to continuously learn, keep up to date with new procedures and desire to share skills and knowledge.
