We are currently recruiting for a Saw Operator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to secure a long-term position with a growing business.

• Operating saw machinery to cut materials to specification.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Measuring and checking materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Working to production targets and deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating saws within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
