Saw Operator

Job description:

Overview
We are currently seeking a Skilled Saw Operator to join our production team in Stourbridge. You will be responsible for accurately cutting metal tubes using industrial saw machinery, preparing materials for the production of high-end, bespoke furnishings.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with previous experience operating saw machines and working to precise measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate saw machinery to cut metal tubes to specified lengths
• Read and interpret job sheets and technical drawings
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all cuts
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation at all times
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating saw machinery is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing setting
