The role will involve cutting, preparing and painting steel sections and fabricated components within a busy workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Operating bandsaws to cut steel accurately to drawings and cutting lists. Preparing steel components through grinding, cleaning and deburring. Applying primers, topcoats and protective industrial coatings. Using brushes, rollers and spray equipment. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Loading and unloading materials using a forklift and overhead crane. Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practices. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in steel fabrication, engineering or manufacturing. Experience operating mechanical saws. Experience with industrial painting/coatings. Able to read engineering drawings and cutting lists. Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Forklift licence would b... Permanent
