Saw Maintenance

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Saw/Maintenance Operator for our client based in Kettering on a temp to perm basis.

An all-rounder required

• 1 set day of maintenance once a week and the rest is cutting on one of their saws.
• Experience using cross-cut saws
• Experience in maintenance of saws and woodworking machinery. i.e. blade changing
• Forklift experience (training/certification will be provided if out of date but must have previous experience)
• Using the work vehicles to drive to sites as and when required (will need to be 25 or over for insurance policy)
• This hybrid role would involve weekly and monthly maintenance checks for all machinery and equipment, so the ideal candidates will be organised and able to manage their own workload.
• Weekly saw blade changes
• Weekly/Quarterly machine/compressor checks
• Weekly/Monthly fire alarm/lighting checks
• Weekly moisture meter calibration checks
• Monthly LEV Checks
• Maintaining all Dewalt Chop saws
