SAS Developer - Birmingham and remote - 6 months+/RATE: £393 per day inside IR35 One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SAS Developer. For this role you will need to be onsite in Birmingham 2 days per week. Please find some details below: CONTRACTOR MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR BPSS MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end technical design artefacts covering SAS EG, SAS DI, and SAS Viya environments. Define standards for SAS code structure, performance optimisation, and reusability. Basel andamp; Regulatory Delivery Translate Basel III/Basel 3.1 business requirements into SAS functional and technical designs. Design SAS solutions supporting RWA, EAD, capital calculations, and regulatory reporting. Ensure SAS implementations are aligned with regulatory expectations and audit requirements. Platform Migration andamp; Modernisation Lead SAS platform upgrades and migrations, including movement to cloud-hosted SAS Viya environments. Define migration strategies, cutover approaches, and BAU stabilisation plans. Ensure minimal risk and disruption during regulatory-critical migrations. Data, Controls andamp; Performance Design SAS data processing flows for large, complex datasets with a focus on efficiency and scalability. Implement reconciliation, control checks, and defect root-cause analysis within SAS solutions. Ensure alignment with data quality, governance, and regulatory control standards.
