We are currently recruiting for an experienced SAP Senior Test Analyst to join a major transformation programme, supporting the delivery and testing of release-based projects within a complex enterprise environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong SAP testing professional with experience across System Testing, Risk Based Testing and test analysis, who is comfortable working across technical and functional teams.

You will be responsible for the analysis, preparation and execution of System Testing, working closely with the Test Lead and wider project teams to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing requirements, functional specifications and APIs to assess testability.
• Analysing requirements and risks to identify appropriate test cases and test coverage.
• Creating test scripts, exploratory test charters and test plans.
• Preparing test data and executing System Tests.
• Recording test results and maintaining clear audit trails and evidence.
• Applying Risk Based Testing (RBT) principles.
• Retesting defects to confirm successful resolution.
• Maintaining traceability between requirements, risks, specifications and tests.
• Creating automated test scripts, with TOSCA experience desirable.
• Managing defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Providing regular test status updates and escalating risks and issues.
• Working closely with developers, business analysts and other technical teams.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong commercial experience as a Test Analyst / Senior Test Analyst.
• Demonstrable SAP testing experience.
• Strong understanding of System Testing and test methodologies.
• Experience with Risk Based Testing.
• Experience creating test cases, test scripts and test plans.
• Strong XML experience, including validation and manipulation.
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Experience with test automation.
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certification, or equivalent experience.

Experience with the following would be beneficial:

SAP | SQL | Oracle | XML | Java | Windows | TOAD | Maestro | WebMethods | WebLogic | TOSCA

TOSCA experience is preferred but not essential.

Experience within any of the following environments would be advantageous:

• Large-scale transformation programmes
• Government or public-sector environments
• Financial or tax-related systems
• Complex enterprise SAP environments
• Highly regulated environments
