About the Role
The SAP Specialist/Procurement role in Stonehouse focuses on managing supply chain activities within an engineering and production setting. Key duties include material planning, scheduling, and procurement aligned with bills of materials and client demand. You will monitor purchase orders through to delivery, expedite orders, resolve discrepancies, and assist finance with invoice queries. Coordination of all domestic and international logistics is essential, alongside maintaining import and export records, handling Customs enquiries, and supporting Postponed VAT Accounting. This contract position offers a £14-16 hourly rate and requires proven knowledge of sourcing precision machined components.
Supply Chain Supervisor
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Supervisor will ideally come from an Engineering and Production background and have a working knowledge of procurement precision machined components and coordination of import and export activities.
Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities
Responsible for material planning, scheduling and procurement in accordance with bills of materials and customer demand.
Monitor Purchase Orders through to delivery, including regular expediting, reconcile any order discrepancies, and assist accounts with invoice queries.
Coordinate all domestic and international logistics.
Maintain accurate records of import and export activities, deal with any Customs queries and support finance for Postponed VAT Accounting.
Supply Chain Supervisor Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of SAP Business by Design
Supervisory experience
