SAP Project Manager - PS/SD

Location: Stevenage (2-3 days per week onsite)Competitive Salary Offered. Role details:We are supporting a major defence client who are undergoing a global transformation programme, migrating from legacy SAP ECC6 system to SAP S/4HANA. As part of the programme we are looking for a Project Manager to lead SAP SD and Project Systems delivery, overseeing order-to-cash and project accounting proccesses. In this role you can expect to:Own SD configuration (order-to-cash process) and SAP Project System configuration and integration with FI/CO modules to support project planning, budgeting, and costing.Challenge custom development requests, advocating for standard SAP capabilities where possible.Work closely with other streams on integration topics, particularly FI/CO, MM, and GTS.Support business change within the Programmes Business function.Collaborate with multinational teams and third-party system integrators.What we are looking for in you:Essential skills:Demonstrable experience with both SAP ECC and S/4HANA.Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migrations, proactively addressing potential issues.Deep understanding of the integration of SD and PS with FI/CO, GTS, and MM.Ability to manage projects and changes from start to finish.Experience in acting as a business partner, reviewing solution proposals.Capability to operate within a formal change control process.
