SAP Migration Specialist

Our client has an opportunity for a SAP Migration Specialist to join them on a 6-month contract.The role will focus on data preparation, cleansing, conversion, loading and reconciliation from a non- SAP system to SAP ECC6 through iterative migration cycles, ensuring business readiness for deployment and supporting a successful go-live.Role: SAP Migration Specialist Location: Newport - fully onsite Hourly Rate: 74 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC needed on submission Hours: 35 hours per weekWhat you''ll be doing: Data preparation and cleansingProduce and maintain key documentation including data migration plans, mapping specifications and runbooks Support business teams with data cleansing of non-SAP dataPrepare templates for master and transactional dataData extraction and transformationMaintain source to target mapping documentation and transformation rulesSupport data transformation activities Data migrationDevelop migration test scripts i.e. using LSMWExecute migration test loads and troubleshoot failures and defectsExecute dress rehearsals and perform reconciliations to ensure data qualityCut-over and Go-live supportContribute to cut over and go-live planningSupport production data migration activitiesProvide post go-live support hypercare Requirements:Essential Hands on experience of performing data migrations from non-SAP systems to SAP ECC6Experience of developing data migration load programs (e.g. LSMW)Strong understanding of SAP data ..... full job details .....
