SAP Basis Specialist - Filton/Hybrid - £45.00 Per Hour Umbrella

We are recruiting for a SAP Basis Specialist for a leading Aerospace organisation based in Filton, this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week on site, 2 days WFH. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Specialist with hands-on expertise in technical delivery, landscape operations, and SAP HANA administration. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational readiness, monitoring, change management, and security of our multi-tier SAP landscape across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, functional consultants, and global business stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum framework to ensure maximum system availability, optimal performance, and strict adherence to security and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities System Administration andamp; Landscape Operations Manage full-life cycle SAP Basis Support operations, including daily administration, system refreshes, Kernel upgrade planning, and Pre/post-refresh activities. Administer, monitor, and optimize the SAP HANA database landscape. Execute end-to-end Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Request fulfillment. Resolve complex system runtime errors, dump analysis, database lock contentions, and process SAP OSS notes and standard system modifications.
