Job Title: SAP Basis Specialist Location: Filton (60% On Site)Duration: 12 Month Contract (Possible Extension)Position OverviewBelcan are currently working with one of the leaders in Aviation, and are supporting them in their search for an experienced SAP Basis Specialist with hands-on expertise in technical delivery, landscape operations, and SAP HANA administration. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational readiness, monitoring, change management, and security of our multi-tier SAP landscape across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, functional consultants, and global business stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum framework to ensure maximum system availability, optimal performance, and strict adherence to security and compliance standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration and Landscape OperationsManage full-lifecycle SAP Basis Support operations, including daily administration, system refreshes, kernel upgrade planning, and Pre/post-refresh activities.Administer, monitor, and optimize the SAP HANA database landscape.Execute end-to-end Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Request fulfillment.Resolve complex system runtime errors, dump analysis, database lock contentions, and process SAP OSS notes and standard system modifications.Discuss and align with counterparts regarding technical activities.Transport and Change ManagementOversee the ..... full job details .....
