Sandwell Council is seeking experienced Adult Safeguarding Social Workers to join their innovative Operational Adult Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a proactive service committed to ensuring that all individuals are able to live free from harm, abuse, and exploitation. About the Role: You will play a key role in safeguarding adults at risk by working in partnership with statutory agencies, communities, and the voluntary sector. The team focuses on delivering person-centred, strengths-based safeguarding interventions that promote independence and achieve positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of Section 42 safeguarding enquiries Undertake duty responsibilities within the safeguarding team Apply the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act in practice Develop and coordinate outcome-focused safeguarding plans Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners Promote a strengths-based, person-centred approach Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration Experience within Adult Social Care, ideally safeguarding Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 ..... full job details .....
