Job Title: Sample Reception TechnicianLocation: ManchesterPay Range/details: £13.20 per hourContract Type: TemporaryOmega has an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK s leading water testing specialists, This role is initially offered on a temporary basis working Tuesday to Saturday 06:30-14:30 moving to 05:00- 13:00 once fully trained.Key Responsibilities Sample Reception Technician Assigning accurate testingHandling of all activities relating to sample reception and goods in including receiving deliveries and unpacking samples, shipping of parcels/postLogging samples into LIMS and storageSome lab-based work and administration tasks.Assisting the team in maintaining an efficient workflow through the laboratory.Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas including sample disposal.To liaise with Custmoer Service and clients regarding any sample queriesTo despatch and document samples to subcontract labs in a timely manner avoiding deviations Qualifications and Requirements Sample Reception Technician Accurate data entryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.To be able to work within set targets and goals and be able to manage expectations.To be able to work well in a team, with an open, honest and approachable character.To have a good eye for detail and understand the business processes.To demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support other individuals in the team.
