Barker Ross are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Order Administrator to join our client''s dynamic sales team, based in Witham St Hughs.

The role is due to start as soon as possible and will be a temporary position for an initial period of 12 weeks. Depending on performance, a permanent position may be offered.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm working a total of 39.5 hours per week.

The pay rate offered will be -13.63 - -14.61 depending on experience.

This key administrative role involves handling incoming customer enquiries, accurately recording order details and ensuring seamless communication with the Sales Engineers for processing.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, competent IT abilities and a professional, customer-centric approach. You will act as a vital link between customers and internal teams, ensuring all information is captured clearly and efficiently to support the smooth processing of orders.

We are looking for the following:-

- Proven experience in an administrative/customer service role
- Experience of working within a sales/order processing environment (desirable)
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive and positive approach to team collaboration
