Sales Operator Road Freight Location: Tamworth Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 -£30,000 Depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Operator to join a busy road freight team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while managing transport operations from booking through to final invoicing. You will be a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring shipments are managed successfully from start to finish. You will enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, taking ownership of your workload, and contributing to the success of both your customers and your team. You will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring that every shipment is delivered efficiently, accurately, and profitably. The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers, delivering a high level of service and building long-term relationships.
