We are working with a well-established manufacturing business located in Middlesbrough who are seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Office Manager to lead their internal sales function and support the delivery of accurate, timely and commercially competitive quotations.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans, where you''ll play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting team development, and ensuring efficient sales office operations.Responsibilities:Lead and support the Key Account Executive and Internal Sales teamsAssist the Sales Manager with the day-to-day management of sales activities, workloads and team prioritiesOversee the preparation of quotations in line with commercial procedures, ensuring accuracy before final approvalMaintain and improve sales office policies, procedures and best practicesDrive enquiry progression, quotation conversion and pipeline management through regular performance reviewsAct as a key liaison between sales, estimating, design, production, projects and senior managementMaintain accurate enquiry, quotation and order information within ERP/SAP systemsMonitor sales KPIs including quotation turnaround times, conversion rates, pipeline movement and forecast accuracyCoach and support team members, promoting excellent customer service, commercial awareness and process complianceEscalate issues promptly and work collaboratively to resolve challenges affecting customer commitments or ..... full job details .....
