The Role
As the Sales Office Manager, you will be the heart of the sales operation, leading a small team to provide excellent service to customers. Your role is a blend of leadership, customer care, and strategic growth, where you will:
- Lead with Authenticity: Coach and mentor your team to provide exceptional customer care and technical support, fostering a culture of high performance and attention to detail.
- Drive Process Enhancements: Be the catalyst for change, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance service levels, improve efficiency, and scale with the growth of the business.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day functions, including sales order processing, customer query resolution, delivery scheduling, and CRM maintenance, ensuring seamless support for the external sales team.
- Fuel Sales Growth: Motivate your team to actively upsell promotions and special offers, influencing basket value and product mix to align with the strategic objectives.

- Customer-Focused: Strong at building lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Sales Expertise: A talent for maximising sales and profitability and overlaying technical product knowledge to meet customer needs.
- Continuous Improvement: A focus on identifying areas for improvement and an eagerness to learn and grow.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in construction materials, particularly drywall, insulation, and M&E support systems.
- A background in managing and tracking sales pipelines.
