Sales Manager - Retail TechnologyLondon BasedAre you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the retail technology sector?An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established technology business providing specialist software and digital solutions to major retailers across the UK and internationally. The business is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to take ownership of new business development, from identifying and qualifying prospects through to negotiation and successfully closing contracts.This is a genuine "hunter" role, suited to someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than simply managing an existing account base. You will be supported by colleagues across the wider business, including marketing and technical teams, to develop opportunities and deliver compelling solutions to prospective customers.The successful candidate will ideally bring an established network within the retail sector and a strong understanding of retail Head Office, merchandising and supply chain operations. Experience selling EPOS, enterprise software or similar complex technology solutions would be highly advantageous.There is also potential for the role to develop into a leadership position as the sales function grows, making previous people-management experience an advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling and other lead-generation activities.Own opportunities ..... full job details .....
