Sales Manager Are you a mechanically minded sales professional with experience in subcontract manufacturing, machining or engineering? An established and market-leading engineering business based in Sheffield is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager/Business development Manager to join its expanding team. Salary: circa £40,000 depending on experience Permanent 37 hours per week The company specialises in the design and manufacture of medium to heavy mechanical engineering projects and products, supplying a diverse range of market sectors. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a technically minded sales professional with a proven track record of developing new and existing business within mechanical engineering.It would be expected that the candidate be from a sales background and be target driven; it would be advantageous for the candidate to have a good mechanical engineering qualification. There will be frequent UK travel therefore a clean UK driving license is essential. The Role Identify new leads and target relevant companies and sectors. Develop qualified leads and convert prospects into active opportunities. Engage with prospective customers to understand their technical requirements, needs and commercial opportunities.
