Sales Manager

We’re hiring for a Sales Manager with a specialist engineering technology business based in Milton Keynes.

In this role, you will manage projects from initial enquiry through to final purchase, combining technical understanding with a consultative sales approach.

What will you be doing as a Sales Manager?

• Managing the full sales cycle from enquiry through to demonstration and close
• Generating new business while handling incoming enquiries
• Identifying opportunities and building strong customer relationships across the UK
• Demonstrating technical equipment and solutions to clients
• Managing accounts and acting as the main contact for after-sales support
• Recording activity, leads and orders within the CRM system
• Working proactively to meet and exceed sales targets
• Supporting sales and marketing activity in new markets
• Attending exhibitions, customer visits and supplier training when required

What will you need?

• Experience in sales, technical sales, or a customer-facing role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, target-driven mindset
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage your own pipeline and workload
• Ideally some knowledge of construction products (windows, doors, or similar), but training can be provided
