Sales Manager / Key Account Manager - Engineering - Aerospace

White Label Recruitment are working exclusively with a well-established engineering business within the aerospace sector, who are looking to appoint a Technical Sales / Key Account Manager to join their commercial team.

This is a relationship-led role, managing an established customer base while identifying opportunities for growth across a technically complex and highly regulated environment.

The Role

• Managing and developing a portfolio of -30 existing customers
• Building strong, long-term relationships with key accounts
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue within existing customers
• Bringing new enquiries (RFQs) into the business
• Working closely with estimators and internal teams to convert opportunities
• Supporting coordination between customers, sales and production
• Leading and supporting a small internal team (estimators, admin, apprentice)
• Hybrid role – split between office and customer visits

The Person

• Proven experience in a technical sales or account management role
• Experience within the aerospace sector is essential
• Background within engineering or manufacturing
• Strong relationship-building and account development skills
• Commercially aware, with the ability to spot and grow opportunities
• Comfortable engaging with technical information  
• Previous experience mentoring or managing others would be beneficial

Salary & Package

• £40,000 – £48,000
• Fully expensed company car (electric option available)
• Bonus paid twice yearly
• Profit-related pension
